Information on Parcel Delivery on Official Matters

1. Parcel Delivery on Official Matters:
  • Please clarify the zip code, addresses, name of the recipient, and delivery method.
  • Please notify the name of the sender and his (her) division for the identification of
     the package and for the return of rejected mail.
  • Registered Packages in Bulk: Please download from the “Download Section”
    “Package Delivery Application Form” and clearly notify the sender’s division,
    delivery methods such as ordinary mail, printed matter, prompt mail delivery,
    and the total number of
    packages. The Sender’s Division and Supervisor column should be stamped or signed.
    In addition, please also fill in two copies of “Lists of Letter-post Items in Bulk,
    Chunghwa Post Co.”, or type down two copies of the lists (with recipients’ names and addresses)
    and notify the total number of packages. please
 • Ordinary Packages in Bulk (not registered):Please download from the “Download Section”
    “Package Delivery Application Form”
    and clearly notify the sender’s division, delivery methods such as ordinary mail, printed matter,
    prompt mail delivery, and the total number of packages. The Sender’s Division and
    Supervisor column should be stamped or signed.
 • Mails of different weights: Please organize them individually for the calculation of postage.
 • Indicate the division by writing or stamping: Please indicate the information of the sender’s
   division at the bottom left (vertical) or top left (horizontal).
2. The Delivery of Important Documents: Please mail them by the following methods: registered,
    prompt registered or registered  with  AR and indicate clearly the sender’s and the recipient’s
    contact number.
3. Delivery of Value-Declared Mail: Please send the cash (legal paper money, no coins) with
    “Value-Declared Envelope,” with the stamp or signature of the sender on the seal.
4. International Air Mail: Besides indicating the address and nation of the recipient clearly in English,
    the sender should also write down the recipient’s nation in Chinese so that the staff at the post office
    can categorize the mail easily. Please write only English on mails sent to Canada, or they will be returned
    by the customs.
5. Mail Delivery Deadline:
 • Prompt Mail: Please send the mail to Documents and Files Office before 3:00 pm.
 • Mail and Package in Bulk: Please send the mail to Documents and Files Office before 3:00 pm.
 • Mails of the Day: Please send the mail to Documents and Files Office before 3:30 pm.
6. In order to cooperate with the delivery time of the post office, mail sent after the deadline
    would be delivered the following afternoon.
    If the mail is sent after the deadline on Friday,
    they will be delivered the following Monday afternoon.
7. Mail which is to be delivered here should be related to official business.
    Please do not send personal mail.
8. The Documents and Files Office does not sell stamps, and neither does it help people transfer,
    withdraw, or deposit money.

Information on Receiving Mails

1. Receiving Mails: Mail which is not claimed after the Documents and
    Files Office has given notice will be announced on the campus information website for three days.
    If the mail is still not claimed, it will be returned to the sender.
2. Checking up registered mails on-line: WWW→Staff/Students→Public System→Mail Inquiry System
    Mail Inquiry Time: 9:00am-12:00am~1:30pm-5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
3. Mails delivered after work or on holidays will be received by the guard.
    The Documents and Files Office will collect the mail from the guard on the next working day to record
    and categorize it.
